What's Next for Maison du Volley

By Maison du Volley

Train. Explore. Come back different. It's the idea behind everything Maison du Volley builds, across four distinct programmes: Volleyball Tours, taking players and teams across Europe to train and compete against a backdrop of real cultural immersion; Pre-Season Preparation, bringing professional and collegiate teams from the US, Canada and Europe onto the same courts ahead of a new season; ChicCoaches, an international retreat built for women who coach; and the Ricardinho European Mentoring Tour, a hands-on week with one of the sport's most distinctive minds.

Each is built on the same conviction: that elite performance and a well-lived life aren't in competition with each other. The coaching is real. So is everything around it.

Looking ahead, one of the season's most anticipated visits is already on the calendar. In January 2027, the University of British Columbia men's volleyball programme will travel to France for a tour built around three of the country's most storied clubs — Paris Volley, Tours, and Poitiers. It's the kind of fixture list that turns a training trip into something closer to a proving ground: North American collegiate athletes stepping onto French courts against sides with genuine European pedigree, with all the cultural immersion — Paris included — that a Maison du Volley programme is built around.

More on the UBC tour, including match dates and how the itinerary comes together, in the weeks ahead. For now: the season is shaping up to be the fullest one yet.
