1. How This Policy Works

This page sets out the general principles that apply to every Maison du Volley Booking. The specific figures for your Programme — the deposit amount, balance due date, and the exact cancellation refund schedule — are set out in the Programme Agreement you receive and sign when booking. Where this Policy and your Programme Agreement differ, your Programme Agreement governs for that Booking.

2. Deposit & Balance

A Booking is secured with a deposit, the amount and due date for which are specified in your Programme Agreement. The remaining balance is due by the date specified in that Agreement. Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in cancellation of the Booking on the terms set out there.

3. Cancellation by You

If you need to cancel, the refund you're entitled to depends on how far in advance of the Departure you cancel, on a tiered schedule set out in your Programme Agreement — generally, the earlier you cancel, the more you recover. The deposit itself is not refundable, except where Maison du Volley cancels the Departure. To cancel, contact us using the details below.

4. Cancellation or Changes by Maison du Volley

If we need to cancel or make a significant change to a Departure — for example, due to insufficient enrolment or a safety concern — we will notify you as soon as possible and offer you a full refund or a transfer to another Departure, in accordance with your Programme Agreement and applicable law.

5. Force Majeure

Where a Departure is affected by circumstances beyond our reasonable control — including natural disaster, war, epidemic, or government travel restrictions — we will work with you in good faith to reschedule, offer a credit, or refund recoverable costs, as set out in your Programme Agreement.

6. How Refunds Are Processed

Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method via Stripe. Processing times depend on your card issuer or bank, typically 5–10 business days after we initiate the refund.

7. Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance — covering trip cancellation, medical treatment, and repatriation — is a mandatory condition of participation in every Maison du Volley Programme. It is the most reliable way to recover costs in circumstances that fall outside this Policy, such as personal illness or a family emergency.
