Terms of Service

Last updated — 26 August 2026

1. Who We Are

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of this website and your booking of any Maison du Volley programme. Maison du Volley is operated by Welcome World, a French société par actions simplifiée registered with the RCS (Registre du Commerce et des Sociétés) of Toulon under number 834 983 900, with its registered office at 14 Rue des Lilas, 83210 La Farlède, France ("Welcome World," "Maison du Volley," "we," "us"). References to "Maison du Volley" throughout these Terms mean Welcome World operating under that brand.

2. Definitions

"Programme" means any volleyball and travel experience offered under the Maison du Volley brand. "Departure" means a specific scheduled instance of a Programme. "Programme Agreement" means the specific agreement entered into between you and Maison du Volley for a given Programme, setting out its price, schedule, and detailed terms. "Booking" means a confirmed reservation, following payment of the deposit set out in the Programme Agreement. "Enquiry" means an initial, non-binding expression of interest, which does not itself constitute a Booking. "You" means the person making the Booking and, where applicable, any additional participant named on it.

3. Eligibility

Each Programme has its own eligibility and age requirements, set out in the Programme Agreement for that Programme. Where a Programme is open to participants under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must complete the Booking, accept these Terms on the participant's behalf, and provide the additional consent documentation described in the Programme Agreement, including in relation to participation, medical treatment authorisation, and use of photography or video.

4. Booking & Contract

Each Maison du Volley experience is individually designed. Prices, payment schedules, booking and cancellation conditions, and all applicable terms are provided to the client before confirmation and are specified in the individual agreement (the "Programme Agreement").

Submitting an Enquiry does not create a binding contract or reserve a place. A Booking is confirmed once the Programme Agreement has been signed and the deposit specified in it has been received. These Terms apply to every Booking; where the Programme Agreement addresses a matter in more specific terms than these Terms, the Programme Agreement governs.

5. Prices & Payment

Prices, deposit amounts, and payment schedules are set out in the Programme Agreement for each Programme. Payments are processed via Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details on our own servers; Stripe processes this information in compliance with PCI-DSS.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellation and refund terms are set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy and in the applicable Programme Agreement, both of which form part of these Terms.

7. Changes to a Booking

Requests to transfer a Booking to a different participant, or to move a participant to a different Departure, are handled in accordance with the applicable Programme Agreement.

8. Our Right to Modify or Cancel a Departure

We may need to modify or cancel a Departure for reasons including insufficient enrolment, safety considerations, or force majeure. Where this happens, you will be offered the options set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy and the applicable Programme Agreement, consistent with applicable law.

9. Travel Documents, Visas & Insurance

You are responsible for holding a valid passport and any visa or other travel documentation required to participate in a Programme. Comprehensive travel and medical insurance — covering at minimum trip cancellation, medical treatment, and repatriation — is a mandatory condition of participation in any Maison du Volley Programme. Proof of valid insurance must be provided before the relevant Departure, as further detailed in the Programme Agreement.

10. Health, Fitness & Assumption of Risk

Volleyball and associated physical training carry an inherent risk of injury. By making a Booking, you (or, for a minor participant, their parent or legal guardian) confirm that the participant is fit to take part, and accept the risks inherent in a physically demanding sports programme. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

11. Photography, Video & Marketing

We may photograph or film participants during a Programme and use this content on our website, in marketing materials, and on social media. For participants under 18, this requires the specific, separate consent of a parent or legal guardian, obtained as part of the Programme Agreement rather than as a general condition of Booking.

12. Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to behave safely, respectfully, and in accordance with the instructions of Maison du Volley staff and coaches. We reserve the right to remove a participant from a Programme in cases of safety violations, harassment, or unlawful conduct, on the terms set out in the applicable Programme Agreement.

13. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and the Maison du Volley name and branding — is owned by or licensed to Welcome World and may not be reproduced without our prior written permission.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our liability in connection with a Programme is as set out in the applicable Programme Agreement. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer habitually resident in the European Union, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the law of your country of residence. We will first seek to resolve any dispute through good-faith discussion. Unresolved disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent French courts, without prejudice to any mandatory right you may have to bring proceedings in your own country of residence.

16. Complaints & Dispute Resolution

If you have a complaint, please contact us using the details in Section 18 and we will respond as promptly as possible. Where applicable, EU-resident travellers may also be entitled to refer an unresolved dispute to an approved consumer mediation body.

17. Force Majeure

Neither party will be liable for a failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disaster, war, epidemic, or government travel restrictions. Where this affects a Departure, the options available to you are set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy and the applicable Programme Agreement.
